BIOPRESSADRIA Interreg Italy-Croatia Programme: CORILA took part in the high-level event held in Split on 29–30 September
BIOPRESSADRIA, an Interreg Italy-Croatia Programme, is developing a cross-border strategy to reduce the negative impacts of nautical and beach tourism on marine and coastal biodiversity.
CORILA took part in the high-level event held in Split on 29–30 September, presenting ongoing work to protect seagrass meadows. The presentation, made by Alessandro Meggiato, highlighted the use of satellite images to assess the impact of nautical tourism in Monfalcone, along with bioacoustic monitoring to better understand the ecological role of mooring fields in Levernaka Island and Panzano Bay.
Remember: every action for seagrass is an action for life!
