CORILA promotes and coordinates research on Venice and its Lagoon, engaging at both national and international levels. It facilitates collaboration within the scientific community and conducts comprehensive studies on the lagoon’s physical, environmental, architectural, landscape, economic, and social aspects, recognizing the intricate interconnections among these components within this complex ecosystem.
CORILA is a no profit association comprising Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, IUAV University of Venice, the National Research Council – CNR and the National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics – OGS. It operates under the oversight of the Italian Ministry of University and Research.
