GREENHULL

The challenge of the Interreg Italia-Slovenija GreenHull project "Green technologies for ecological cleaning of the biological incrustation on hulls in the Northern Adriatic Sea" is to solve the problem of pollution in the Program Area thanks to the cleaning of biological incrustations on the hulls, with improving the performance of ships and reducing the introduction of allochthonous species into the environment.

Valle Averto WWF Oasis is the only area within the Special Area of Conservation IT325030 "Laguna medio inferiore di Venezia" and of the Special Protection Area IT3250046 "Laguna di Venezia" where these two priority habitats are known to exist. [..]

The project ADRILINK "Adriatic Landscape Interpretation Network" is a project funded by the European program Interreg ADRION within the priority axis related to the sustainability of the Regions.

The general objective of ADRILINK is to promote Landscape Tourism in the Adriatic Region through the creation of a network of Landscape Interpretation Centers

SASPAS (Safe Anchoring and Seagrass Protection in the Adriatic Sea) is a project funded under the Italy-Croatia Territorial Cooperation Program and is aimed at protecting and recovering Posidonia oceanica grasslands (habitat 1120 *) on the Adriatic seabed .

The project that will be developed over a period of 30 months starting from January 2019, involves the study and implementation of innovative and safe anchoring systems for recreational crafts in the three study sites: Gulf of Panzano (Monfalcone), Kornati National Park (Croatia) and the Brindisi coast of the Dune Costiere Natural Park from Torre Canne to Torre San Leonardo.
