The annual General Assembly of the REST-COAST and Waterlands H2020 projects

The annual General Assembly of the REST-COAST and Waterlands H2020 projects took place last Friday. The meeting has been hosted by the Groningen Province in this beautiful city. During this week of works, the partners had the opportunity to discuss on the advancement of the two projects, looking for synergies and planning the activities to be done in the near future.
We have also visited the Wadden Sea pilot site, the Eems-Dollard, both from the sea and coast perspectives. This was a great opportunity to “touch with hands” the huge and amazing restoration interventions they are performing to face the climate change effects, while conserving and improving the ecosystems and unique biodiversity.
Many thanks again to all the Wadden Sea team for the amazing organisation and warm hospitality they reserved to us.
Stay tune for the next news on the REST-COAST project!
