Job Announcement Director General – DANUBIUS-ERIC
The International Centre for Advanced Studies on River-Sea Systems (DANUBIUS-ERIC) invites applications for the position of Director General (DG).
The Director General is the chief executive officer and legal representative of DANUBIUS-ERIC, responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, financial oversight, and international representation of the organisation. The successful candidate will lead the development of DANUBIUS-ERIC into a world-class European research infrastructure.
Essential Qualifications
Applicants should have:
· PhD (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field.
· Strong international scientific and management experience.
· Experience leading research infrastructures, research institutes, or international scientific organisations.
· Proven leadership and strategic planning skills.
· Experience with European research and innovation programmes.
· Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Excellent command of English.
