Job Announcement Director General \u2013 DANUBIUS-ERIC<\/strong><\/p>\n

The International Centre for Advanced Studies on River-Sea Systems (DANUBIUS-ERIC) invites applications for the position of Director General (DG).<\/p>\n

The Director General is the chief executive officer and legal representative of DANUBIUS-ERIC, responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, financial oversight, and international representation of the organisation. The successful candidate will lead the development of DANUBIUS-ERIC into a world-class European research infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Essential Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

Applicants should have:<\/p>\n

\u00b7 PhD (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Strong international scientific and management experience.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Experience leading research infrastructures, research institutes, or international scientific organisations.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Proven leadership and strategic planning skills.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Experience with European research and innovation programmes.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Excellent command of English.<\/p>\n
