Palazzo Franchetti, prestigioso palazzo sul Canal Grande di propriet\u00e0 dell\u2019Istituto Veneto di Scienze Lettere ed Arti.<br \/>\nIl Comitato di Indirizzo e Controllo, negli anni 1998 e 2001, ha deliberato l\u2019attribuzione a CORILA di fondi a valere sulla Legge Speciale per Venezia (12 milioni di Euro circa), per svolgere progetti di ricerca che portino a risultati concreti utilizzabili dalle Pubbliche Amministrazioni nelle attivit\u00e0 collegate alla Salvaguardia di Venezia.<br \/>\nCORILA ha pertanto sviluppato due successivi Programma di ricerca, cui hanno partecipato oltre 300 ricercatori di pi\u00f9 di 80 Istituzioni scientifiche, di cui una ventina straniere. Al fine di avere un quadro maggiormente completo e pi\u00f9 dettagliato sulle aree della laguna interessate dai possibili interventi, come discusso nel \u201ctavolo tecnico\u201d del Comitatone riunitosi nel 2014, CORILA ha avviato specifiche attivit\u00e0 conoscitive, su indicazione dell\u2019Autorit\u00e0 Portuale.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]SOLVe nasce come sottoprogetto di <strong>RITMARE<\/strong>, progetto bandiera di Ricerca nazionale sul mare per il quinquennio 2012-2016 finanziato dal Ministero dell\u2019Universit\u00e0 e della Ricerca. Obiettivo di SOLVe \u00e8 sviluppare il progetto del Sistema di Osservazione della Laugna al momento dell\u2019entrata in funzione del sistema di protezione dagli allagamenti (MOSE), quando questa diventer\u00e0 una laguna \u201cregolata\u201d non pi\u00f9 dal ciclo delle maree, ma dalle necessit\u00e0 antropiche, e indicare i principali meccanismi di controllo a scala lagunare e locale sui quali sar\u00e0 possibile intervenire al fine di evitare crisi ambientali e dei servizi ecosistemici.<\/p>\n<p>A partire dal 2004, CORILA \u00e8 coinvolto in <strong>progetti di ricerca Europei<\/strong>, dal Programma FP7 agli H2020, ad altri programmi Interreg IT-HR, Interreg IT-SL Interreg ADRION, DG MARE, DG ENV e LIFE. Dal 2008 il direttore di CORILA \u00e8 esperto nazionale, nominato dal Ministro dell\u2019Istruzione dell\u2019Universit\u00e0 e della Ricerca, nel Comitato di Programma dell\u2019iniziativa Europea Horizon 2020 &#8211; SC2 \u201cFood security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland water research and the bioeconomy\u201d, inoltre \u00e8 componente dell\u2019Executive Committee del Management Board dell\u2019iniziativa europea di programmazione congiunta di ricerca &#8211; JPI Healthy and Productive Seas and Oceans, in rappresentanza del Governo italiano e dello Steering Committe dell\u2019Iniziativa BLUEMED.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=&#8221;middle&#8221; disable_element=&#8221;yes&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1624008701476{padding-top: 50px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column offset=&#8221;vc_col-md-6&#8243;][vc_column_text]Dal 2010, CORILA \u00e8 \u201cfocal point\u201d per il Comune di Venezia nella campagna \u201cMaking cities Resilient\u201d di UNISDR.<\/p>\n<p>Nel 2019 CORILA ha avviato un ampio programma di ricerche triennale, finanziato dal Provveditorato alle OO. PP. del Triveneto attraverso il Consorzio Venezia Nuova, denominato \u201c<strong>Venezia2021<\/strong>\u201d. Il titolo intende fare riferimento alla situazione che si verificher\u00e0 al termine della costruzione delle barriere mobili alle bocche di porto, quando il sistema lagunare di Venezia diventer\u00e0 la prima laguna \u201cregolata\u201d dia cos\u00ec ampia scala al mondo, potendo modulare attraverso le barriere gli scambi di acqua tra laguna e mare. Il Programma di ricerca coinvolge tutti gli Enti Soci di CORILA assieme ad alcune altre collaborazioni scientifiche, ed \u00e8 articolato in cinque temi ed in quindici linee, ciascuna indirizzata verso precisi obbiettivi. Insieme, essi intendono fornire agli enti gestori, quale che sia la forma che assumer\u00e0 la gestione, gli strumenti conoscitivi per comprendere gli effetti a breve, lungo e medio termine dell\u2019attivit\u00e0 di regolazione delle maree, indirizzando ove opportuno e possibile le eventuali misure aggiuntive di mitigazione.<\/p>\n<p>CORILA ha promosso e sostiene la costituzione della societ\u00e0 scientifica LaguNet, rete scientifica italiana per lo studio delle lagune e degli ambienti di transizione, che ha sede presso CORILA. Sostiene la sezione italiana di EUCC- Coastal&amp;Marine Union,principale ong europea impegnata nella difesa della costa.
