CORILA. Where we are and how to reach us

Venice is accessible by plane, train, car.From the international airport "Marco Polo" airport you can reach Venice in 20 minutes by bus to the Piazzale Roma terminal, or take a taxi directly to the Old Town. By train you will arrive directly in the historical center, the railway station of VeniceSaint Lucia. By car or bus to get to Piazzale Roma, also downtown.

To CORILA by Vaporetto

From Piazzale Roma car terminal  and from Venezia Santa Lucia railway station (see BLUE route on the map)
From both Piazzale Roma car terminal and Venezia Santa Lucia railway station you can take the ACTV vaporetto(waterbus) number 1 or 2 (San Marco-Lido direction), running every 10 min., and get off at “Accademia” waterbus station. The journey time is about 20 min. Cross the Accademia bridge and Palazzo Franchetti is just on the other side of the channel.

To CORILA on foot

From Piazzale Roma car terminal (1).

20 minutes (see MAGENTA route on the map).
After “Rio Novo dai Tre ponti”  (2), walk along the “Fondamenta del Gaffaro” (3) towards Frari church direction; turn on your right towards “Campo San Pantalon” (4) and after having crossed the bridge you will be in “Campo Santa Margherita” (5), to be entirely crossed. Then walk on to “Campo San Barnaba” (6), you’ll arrive first at “Toletta” (7) and then “Accademia” bridge; cross it and you’ll reach Corila, at “Palazzo Franchetti”, which is just on the other side of the channel. 

From Venezia Santa Lucia railway station (1) 

20 minutes (see ORANGE route on the map).
Cross the “Scalzi” bridge, then walk on your right and turn left towards Frari church direction. Cross the bridge and you are in Rio “delle Meneghette” near “Tolentini” area; walk along it and then along ”Calle della Chiovere” (2), up to “Campo dei Frari” (3). Turn right along the “sottoportego”, walk across “Campiello San Rocco” and then towards “Campo San Pantalon” (4), and after having crossed the bridge you will be in “Campo Santa Margherita” (5), to be entirely crossed. Then walk on to “Campo San Barnaba” (6), you’ll arrive first at “Toletta” (7) and then “Accademia” bridge; cross it and you’ll reach Corila, at “Palazzo Franchetti”, which is just on the other side of the channel.
